Aluminum polyester tape are divided into aluminum polyester self-bonded tape and aluminum polyester non-bonded tape.
Aluminum polyester self-bonded tape are divided into single side self-bonded tape which are made of a aluminum layer ,a pet layer,a boned EAA film layer which use oil based glue laminated. And double side self- bonded aluminum polyester are made of two aluminum layers ,a pet layer and a EAA layer by glue laminating to be a group. compared single side self-bonded aluminum polyester tape, the double side self-bonded aluminum polyester tape have better shielding effect.but it will spend more cost. The advantages of self-bonded aluminum tape can be stick tightly into the cable insulation layer which closed to cable core to get more shield .
Single side Non-boned alumminum polyester tape normal structure is an aluminum layer and another layer is PET by glue laminating. Double side Non-boned alumminum polyester tape be made of AL layer-PET layer -AL layer. The AL layer thicker ,the shield effect better ,and the price high.

Foil free edge mylar tape is divided into single-sided foil free edge and double-sided foil free edge. Its structure is PET-PET- AL. Single-sided foil free edge mylar tape is the outer PET layer end is flush, the other end is slightly wider than aluminum foil. Double-sided foil free edge means the outer PET layers is slightly wider than the aluminum foil at both ends. It have goods elongation. There will be no warping Angle because the aluminum foil can be stretched.
